A clinical research study is now enrolling patients with dry eye disease to help evaluate a study medication.
There are currently no approved products for dry eye disease that specifically target the outer layer of the cornea. The study drug could help heal corneal wounds, improve vision, and possibly provide relief from discomfort in patients with dry eye disease. In an earlier research study, some patients treated with the study drug showed improvement. This study will evaluate the safety and effectiveness of the study drug.
